Colorado Springs, CO or Kansas City, MO. Which has the better job market and better real estate market? Any other factors you can think of that would make one or the other a better place to live for a middle aged family. (40 years old with two kids ages 12-14)

I don’t know about job market or real estate but I know Colorado Springs has a better school system and their residents are healthier.

I’m considering a real estate venture and would like to know the most popular areas to move within KC. I’m from KC and I’m familiar with most areas, but from a wannabe realtor standpoint I thought I should do some research first. I would like to turn a great profit from a fixer upper by adding ambience and a great decor. I’m new to Yahoo questions.

theres no good area to “flip” homes right now – even if you buy something at a great price then fix it up – you’ll be renting it out for 3-5 yrs to get any $ back out of it – theres your first lesson in “making fast $ ” It isn’t gonna happen in this market

Im looking to move to Kansas City this spring and need to find a job…I’ve been working in the mortgage/lending industry for 3 years but open to real estate and property management. Can anyone tell me a good company to apply to? I have a BA in Psychology and very detail-orientated. Hope someone can help! I will be out to visit in early March and looking to move in mid-April.

Missouri has following schools offering Real Estate Programs:
1.Lindenwood University, St. Charles offering Masters in Real Estate Finance
2.St. Louis Community College,Meramec offering Certificate and also Associate Degree.
3.University of Missouri – Columbia offering Undergraduate Program
4. Webster University, St. Louis offering Under Graduate as well Graduate Program.
